The global exhibition industry association UFI, an Iceberg partner, has released the results of research into women who are working in the sector. “Women in the Exhibition Industry” collates an online survey of over 200 respondents, mostly women. 82 percent of them highly appreciated working in exhibitions and loved their jobs. Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism has announced a $1 million bid fund in 2019 to increase its share of international meetings. Indonesian Tourism is also thinking about developing new destinations like Batam and Bintan. Currently only Bali and Jakarta are considered meetings-ready. Korea has secured its bid to host the 31st World Congress on Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
