The Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville has reopened following its two-year, $207 million expansion. According to Louisville Tourism, the city’s convention and visitors bureau, 84 meeting groups have been booked since the project was announced. Conference spending by the US federal government for fiscal year 2017 dropped by 15.7 percent, according to STR’s Market Insights team. That dip is the first decline since 2013.
