UFI, the global association of the exhibition industry, has chosen Oman and its new Convention & Exhibition Centre to host its 2020 Global Congress. VisitBritain is calling for grant applications for its programme to secure new international business events for the United Kingdom and to grow the economic value of existing events. The Dubai Association Centre has seen rapid growth in registrations of international associations during the first half of 2018. Following the first Dubai Association Conference in December, the Centre now has a total of 58 licensed associations, with sixteen registrations received since January.
