More than 30 organisations have joined forces to improve Sydney’s environmental performance by increasing use of renewable energy, reducing water consumption, and improving waste management and recycling. The Wisconsin Center District board of directors has shown expansion plans, analysis and conceptual renderings for Milwaukee’s Wisconsin Center. The plans add between 157,000 and 172,000 square feet to existing space. The cost of the project is estimated at between $247 million and $277 million. The AU$176 million expansion of the Cairns Convention Centre has been given the go-ahead following the Queensland Budget. The funds will be delivered over two years, and will see the addition of a 3000 square metre exhibition hall and supporting plenary space.
