ICC Sydney says it has prevented the use and discarding of 520,000 plastic bottles during its first ten months by using recyclable glass instead in all meeting rooms. A new convention centre is to be built in Hong Kong to bring in more international meetings to the city. ICC Wales – currently under construction at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport – has announced that the Alzheimer’s Research UK Conference 2020 is one of its first confirmed bookings.
