When dentist Alain Perceval launched the first CIDAE congress in 2009, he wasn’t trying to build a legacy. He simply wanted to fill a gap – a space for clinicians passionate about adhesive and aesthetic dentistry to learn from the very best, in an atmosphere that valued science as much as human connection. Yet sixteen years later, CIDAE (Congrès International de Dentisterie Adhésive et Esthétique) has become a community, a catalyst, and quietly, one of Brussels’ strongest examples of how specialist meetings can shape a city far beyond the walls of a congress venue.
