HIV Glasgow: Growing Grumpy Gracefully

HIV Glasgow, the HIV Drug Therapy Conference held in the medical hub city, has become the curator of data, the summary of knowledge from other international conferences focussed on the treatment and prevention of HIV and AIDS.

But the legacy is truly unique…

The 2025 edition revealed the circularity of a non-profit event dedicated to ensuring that research and treatment opportunities bridge not only the various age groups suffering from the disease, but that research and treatment reaches the Global South by reinvesting the profits of the conference into scholarships for researchers from resource-limited countries who can then visit and work with those from the Global North. The result, a level playing field for treatment and patient care that bridges both of the demographic divides by way of the Glasgow Declaration and the HIV Trust…

The HIV Trust is unique to HIV Glasgow, as the conference is known, and epitomises for-purpose convening of medical, pharma, and patient communities in pursuit of better patient outcomes worldwide.
