ISHF 2025 Dublin – Fáilte Ireland’s Role in Driving Change in Social Housing

The recent International Social Housing Festival (ISHF) in Dublin brought together over 2,000 delegates from across Europe, New Zealand, Australia, and Asia. The festival provided a unique platform to discuss critical housing issues like affordability, retrofitting, climate challenges, and accessibility, incorporating a powerful “tenant’s voice” project that not only created a legacy for Ireland, but will be incorporated into all future ISHFs around the world.

ISHF Oral History Project Audio Files

This project collected six stories on the lived experience in social and authority housing in Ireland in order to begin a repository of such tales. The project recorded face-to-face interviews with residents in these communities at some point in their lives. These interviews have been preserved as a permanent resource on the International Social Housing Festival website.
