BestCities Global Alliance and the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) have announced the finalists of this year’s Incredible Impact Programme, an initiative which celebrates associations that drive lasting, positive change through international meetings. Two of the three shortlisted are the subjects of case studies produced by The Iceberg in collaboration with Fáilte Ireland – AEC 2025, recently published, and ISHF 2025, due out next month – showcasing how their Impact & Legacy Framework supports organisers in embedding legacy directly into event planning.
The third finalist, Wind Europe 2025, was supported by Iceberg Partner Copenhagen Legacy Lab in their legacy planning, whose case study has also been shared by The Iceberg. The finalists will present their projects during a plenary session at the 2026 ICCA Congress in Panama City in November.

The recipient of the Incredible Impacts Seed Grant is the International Hepato-Pancreato Biliary Association (IHPBA), with which IHPBA will introduce a new Legacy Project that aims to minimise disparities in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) outcomes among low- and middle-income countries by advancing equitable care through regionally tailored frameworks, collaboration, and policy leadership.
