Eva Klinger

Director Sales & Marketing Guest Events, Messe Frankfurt

Eva started her career in the travel industry working as a Manager/Director for Thomas Cook and American Express Business Travel. After 6 years abroad in Ghana and Malta as an expatriate and family time she started working for Messe Frankfurt visitor services in 2006.

After different roles and accompanying various projects within the visitor service team she became a Teamleader in 2010. Working fulltime she started to study business economy and finished successfully in 2013. In 2014 she joined the Messe Frankfurt inhouse consulting team as a Senior Project manager Business Process Management leading several process and efficiency projects within the company. During that time she also lead projects in the guest events department and was promoted as Director Sales & Marketing Guest Events in 2020 – in the middle of the pandemic.
Leading a team of 16 passionate Sales and Marketing Managers she is always interested in everything to improve customer service as well as to develop topics that support customers/potential customers of Messe Frankfurt Locations.

Her team is in charge for marketing and acquisition focusing on organisers as well as for contracting the up to 250 guest events every year – whether it is concerts, events, congresses or guest trade shows.

Born in Frankfurt am Main she is always on the road as a fan and an ambassador to inspire people to be part of the “we love events in Frankfurt” community as well as of the architectural masterpieces of Messe Frankfurt Venue (Locations).
